Do you wear a watch?
Yes, I always wear a watch, even if I am just at home. It is a smartwatch from Samsung that is automatically synced with my phone. So besides the main feature of time telling, my watch also shows notifications from emails, social platforms,.. So that I can keep everything on track.

Have you ever got a watch as a gift?
So far not yet. Well I always yearn for a luxurious watch as a birthday gift. But you know, it’s sort of a pretty costly thing. And I don’t think I can receive such an expensive gift like that. It would be so awkward.

Why do some people wear expensive watches?
Well it could be a good way to show off yourself, I believe. Firstly, for some people, watches are nothing more than time-telling devices. But some others consider watches as their wealth indicator. I mean, some watches worth up to millions of dollars. Imagine you wear that watch to a party! What an incredible way to impress other people right?

How often do you wear a watch?
Honestly, I’m a pretty busy guy. My schedule sometimes is chaotic, packed with meetings and reports. And my watch keeps me alarmed with the deadline. So I wear my watch almost 24/7. It is a Samsung smartwatch. It has waterproof materials and a very comfy rubber strap so that I can wear it everyday without getting itchy.

What was your first watch like?
As my memory serves me right, my first watch was a fashionable, battery-powered Casio. It had a metallic cover, a small screen showing digital numbers. Back then I was just in grade 8th. I saved my Lucky money from Tet holidays for 2 years just to get it and it was the most valuable item that I bought with my own money when I was at school.

What kinds of watches do you like to wear?
If you ask me this question about 4-5 years ago, I would say my favorite watch is a classical, mechanical one. Especially it feels pretty cool when I mix my suit with a classical watch in a formal party, like a gentleman you know. But now I am into smartwatches. It has many convenient features like finding my phone, showing notifications or even controlling my music playlist.

Do you think that it is important to wear a watch?
Well it mainly depends on what purpose you wear a watch for. For those who are considered to be busy, disciplined, punctual, wearing a watch is a must for them I believe. Although time can be shown everywhere from phone screens to cars or motorbikes display screens, having a watch on your wrist to check the time is still the best way.
