The diagrams compare shipments of several citrus fruit varieties from various nations in 2010.

Overall, each country favoured different types of fruits for exporting. Besides, in terms of weight, oranges were by far the fruit that was shipped the most, followed by lemons and grapefruits.

The largest export was oranges, which South Africa exported in excess of 1 million metric tonnes of. 900,000 and 700,000 metric tonnes of oranges were shipped from Egypt and the US, correspondingly. Turkey was the largest exporter of lemons with 500,000 metric tonnes, followed by Mexico and Argentina with around 440,000 and 260,000 metric tonnes, respectively.

Moving to the third most popular fruit, the United States and South Africa each exported around 230,000 tonnes of grapefruit, whereas Turkey managed to export just about 50,000 tonnes fewer than those two nations. Mexico was in the leading position of exporting 450 000 metric tonnes of various citrus fruit varieties. Comparatively, the US and Israel contributed minimally to the overall amount.

IELTS Writing Task 2

Task 2: Some people think that all teenagers should be required to do unpaid work in their free time to help the local community. They believe this would benefit both the individual teenager and society as a whole. Do you agree or disagree?

Many people argue that adolescents must participate in volunteer work in their spare time because of advantages for themselves as well as for the community. During the course of this essay, both sides of this phenomenon would be subjected to careful consideration before drawing on a rational conclusion. 

On the one hand, the point that schools should encourage their students to join volunteer work seems to be relatively advantageous. In terms of individuals, these activities assist young people in developing a feeling of responsibility since after the campaigns, participants might realise that the obligation of employment is more significant than any potential financial gain. Regarding society, this approach has the potential to foster interpersonal relationships while also increasing empathy awareness. For instance, a large number of Vietnamese college and high school students would take part in the annual Green Summer campaign, which involved community service projects ranging from teaching and building in rural regions to bringing attention to social concerns. Many young people’s perspectives have benefited from these activities, helping to prepare them to become responsible citizens.

On the other hand, the view that all teenagers should not be required to do unpaid things could be justified by the following ideas. First off, teenagers are frequently under a lot of pressure to study and take exams, so they should spend their free time resting or improving their academic performance. People only spend around 15 years in education before entering the workforce; as a result, they should not even commit to any working task too soon. In addition, rather than performing unpaid labour since so many families are struggling financially, the adolescents may seek a part-time job to help their parents.

In conclusion, I believe that individuals should volunteer whenever feasible, but it would not be realistic for schools to compel such activities.
