1. Do you like traveling?
Well in fact, I would have to say that I am pretty into traveling for two main reasons.
Firstly, it is a marvelous way to let your hair down after hard working weeks. Whenever having some days off and indulging myself in landscapes, I could get away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
Secondly, it is also a good chance to widen your knowledge about different cultures, cuisines, or lives you come across.
- The hustle and bustle (idiom): hối hả và nhộn nhịp
- Widen your knowledge (idiom): mở rộng kiến thức của bạn
- Cuisines (n): ẩm thực
- Come across (phrasal verb): tình cờ gặp/ đi ngang qua
→ Giải thích 2 lý do:
- Để thư giãn
- Để mở mang kiến thức
Chú ý các cụm từ liên quan về thư giãn và các cụm thay cho traveling.

2. Do you like to travel alone or in a group?
In all fairness, I guess it depends really.
If my friends or family and I are available at the same time, we would travel together and have a whale of a time. This is definitely an occasion when you and your beloved ones can bond.
On the other hand, if they are up to their ears in work and cannot join me, I would eagerly travel to places by myself. You know, it is not a bad idea to have some time for yourself.
- Have a whale of a time (idiom): tận hưởng vui vẻ

- Khi cùng rảnh thì đi chung
- Khi một bên bận thì sẽ tự đi một mình
Bạn có thể chọn chia ra hai trường hợp của cảm xúc: khi vui thì đi cùng mọi người và khi buồn thì muốn ở một mình (have some space)
3. In which seasons do you prefer to travel?
Frankly speaking, I am keen on going sightseeing in a few certain periods of the year.
Particularly, I am fond of summer because it is the time when I can take part in a lot of activities without any disruption from the weather. It is the perfect time for beaches, you know.
Additionally, winter is also my cup of tea. Vietnam is a tropical country, so I am really enthusiastic about traveling to a country in the temperate zone where I can try some winter sports.

4. What kind of places have you visited in your life?
Generally, I am a globe-trotter, and I have been to different countries.
The most visited area would be South East Asia and East Asia. These hot spots live up to their reputation for having rich cultures and mind-blowing cuisines. Hence, they are pretty affordable to wander around, too.
The second group of countries worth mentioning is Europe and North America. The lifestyles and heritage in these regions are as different as chalk and cheese from my country.

Describe a time you taught an older person something new.
You should say:
- Who you taught
- What you taught
- Why you taught this person
And explain how you felt about it

If there were a competition for the most terrific experience, the time I helped my grandmother out with her new phone would be a strong contender.
If memory serves me correctly, it was just a few days before the social distancing took place last year due to the Covid-19 pandemic. As soon as we learned about the policy, my family decided to buy a smartphone so that my grandmother could contact us. She was living with my uncle and quite away from my house. Yet, it was of paramount importance to check her out frequently because of the lethal virus.
In terms of the device, it was not really cutting-edge or expensive because it was bought for the purpose of video calls only. It fitted perfectly in the palm of the hand and was equipped with a software that guaranteed face recognition for the sake of simplicity.
It was my grandma’s first smartphone ever, so I had to guide her how to use the phone. Basically, I told her how to charge the phone and showed her how to use automatic recognition for opening. I downloaded the social networking app and created her an account so that we could use the messaging utility. We also practiced making and receiving calls dozens of times to make sure that she would be able to reach out to us if there was a problem. It was painstaking since she was a bit absent-minded.
To cut the long story short, it is definitely a memorable experience for me.

→ Bài giải miêu tả các nội dung về KHI NÀO, VỚI AI, và dạy CÁI GÌ. Thí sinh có thể chọn dùng những những bài nội dung đã chuẩn bị trước để ứng dụng vào bài. Ví dụ trong bài mẫu dùng thông tin miêu tả thiết bị điện tử từ bài đã chuẩn bị trước đó. Lưu ý chia thì quá khứ cẩn thận và phát âm quá khứ.

1. Is it easy for old people to learn new things?
Honestly, it is not really challenging if they are willing to make changes and are in good mental condition. They probably just need some practice to remember things well.
But, you also have to understand that for those who are facing memory problems like dementia, it would be intricate.

- Intricate (a): phức tạp
Bài giải liệt kê 2 mặt dễ và khó. Thí sinh có thể chia theo nhóm tuổi; ví dụ nhóm 50-65 và 65+.
2. Why do some old people refuse to use new technology?
Well in truth, there are several reasons for this.
Firstly, they are fond of their usual habits, and they probably think that they could survive without using gadgets. Taking my grandmother as an example, she only agreed to learn how to use the phone when she was explained how crucial it was during the social distancing policy.
Secondly, they would probably give up when failing so many times due to their health problems. To use a mouse when operating a computer needs really good hand work while most elderly people have trouble with limb coordination.
- Limb coordination (noun phrase): sự phối hợp chân tay.
→ Hình thức liệt kê hai lý do. Thí sinh có thể lấy ví dụ thực tiễn để bàn luận nếu không biết cách giải thích.
3. Are there any differences in the young and the old’s opinion about new changes?
Well based on my experience, it is fairly distinct when the young tend to welcome greener pastures. Oppositely, the aged are more skeptical and cautious when it comes to winds of changes.
Yet, I think somehow deep down in their hearts, they, young and old alike, accept the fair truth that life‘s unheralded changeover is inevitable.

- Skeptical and cautious (a): hoài nghi và thận trọng
- Winds of changes (a): những luồng gió mới

- Inevitable (a): không thể tránh khỏi
→ Đề cập hai khía cạnh khác và không khác:
- Cái khác nằm ở sự tiếp nhận cái mới
- Còn giống nhau là vì ai cũng lường trước được rằng cuộc sống thay đổi là điều tất yếu.
