Sample

The bar graph depicts the modes of transportation preferred by the youthful generation in the United Kingdom, the United States, Germany, and France for commuting.

In general, automobiles are the most popular mode of transportation among young people in these nations, with the exception of Germany, where the most noticeable proportion of young people choose to travel by bicycle.

According to the graph, three-quarters of French teenagers drive a car, whereas a small percentage (almost 15%) prefer to ride two-wheelers. The majority of young Americans commute by car, with half of these young people opting for a motorcycle. In the United Kingdom, only around a third of young people go by bicycle, while the other half travel by car.

Furthermore, the preferences of German youth diverge significantly from those of others, with approximately 45 percent preferring to commute by bicycle rather than car (40 percent ). The percentage of young motorcycle riders is the same in France and the United Kingdom (about 10%), but it is significantly higher in Germany (roughly 15%).

Phân tích

Nhìn chung, xe hơi là phương tiện phổ biến nhất ở hầu hết các nước (trừ Đức). Lần lượt mô tả số liệu của các loại phương tiện theo số liệu nổi bật: Xe hơi ở Pháp, Mỹ, Anh; Xe máy tại Mỹ và xe đạp tại Anh (đoạn 3 – vì đây là những số liệu khá cao). Đoạn cuối cùng thể hiện sự trái ngược của nước Đức so với các nước kia, cũng như so sánh số liệu của xe máy giữa các nước, do có sự tương đồng hoặc khác biệt.

IELTS Writing Task 2

Task 2: Some think that people should not change their jobs while others think they should because it brings advantages for themselves, the company and society. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

Sample

Several people believe that they should work for the same company for the remainder of their lives, while others believe that their jobs should be varied. This paper would examine both viewpoints and explain why the latter is, in my opinion, more favourable. 

On the one hand, individuals who believe that staying at the same job makes it simpler to work argue that it is more convenient. In other words, if someone has worked for an organisation for a long time, he or she will be at ease performing any task because everyone knows who they are. For example, a member of my extended family has worked for a financial organisation for over a quarter of a century because he enjoys and is content working there. As a result, many people, particularly the elderly, are hesitant to change careers since they are perfectly satisfied with their current position.

Opponents of this viewpoint believe that a person should be able to change jobs at any time, which means that he or she should be able to transfer to different faculties based on their preferences. Furthermore, job variety not only makes a person happy, but it also allows them to get new experiences and expand their capabilities. For example, according to recent research, the majority of employees are quitting their jobs in order to advance in their careers. As a result, nowadays, young people choose to change jobs in order to further their careers and accumulate wealth.

In conclusion, it is apparent that staying in the same career is joyful for those who oppose change; nevertheless, those who change their profession on a regular basis have a high chance of advancement. As a result, I fully believe that a person should bring variety to their future career path.

Giải đề IELTS Writing ngày 08/01/2022

Phân tích

Ngay tại mở bài nêu rõ mục đích của bài viết: bàn luận cả 2 khía cạnh của vấn đề và trình bày quan điểm bản thân. Đoạn body 1 nói về khía cạnh Giữ nguyên công việc và làm lâu dài cùng với sự thuận tiện của nó (làm quen việc, được mọi người biết tới, cảm thấy công việc phù hợp với bản thân,..). Ngược lại, đoạn body 2 đề cập những cơ hội mới nếu như thay đổi công việc thường xuyên (mở rộng mối quan hệ, trau dồi được nhiều kỹ năng, đáp ứng nhu cầu thay đổi của bản thân và xã hội,…

Mỗi đoạn văn đều được trình bày rõ ràng bởi các luận điểm lớn, và theo sau bằng những lập luận, ví dụ cụ thể. Các cấu trúc câu được sử dụng linh hoạt: Mệnh đề điều kiện, cấu trúc Not only…but also, mệnh đề quan hệ,…

Kết bài khẳng định lại cả 2 quan điểm và trình bày bản thân nghiêng về mặt thứ 2 nhiều hơn, vì những cơ hội mà nó mang lại.
