Cấu trúc In order to và so as to có nghĩa là “để, để mà”, được dùng trong câu để giới thiệu về mục đích của hành động.

Ex:

I worked hard in order to/ so as to get a better job. (Tôi học hành chăm chỉ để có công việc tốt hơn.)
She arrived early in order to get a good seat. (Cô ấy đến sớm để có chỗ ngồi tốt.)

Ex:

Ngoài ra, trong ngữ cảnh họp hành (meeting), in order to còn thể hiện một việc được cho phép làm theo quy định cuộc họp.
